These children are exactly the same age!   They were born one day apart.

They both have growth disorders.
The boy has Russell Silver Syndrome and is below the 1st percentile for height. The girl has precocious puberty and has grown too soon. She is above the 99th percentile for height.
Untreated both children would be severely short as adults.

Fortunately...

there is treatment available and both children should attain more normal adult heights.
